Customs and Purchasing Administrator
Belfast
Our client is a successful manufacturing business who value relationships; with customer and suppliers they require a Customs and Purchasing Administrator to work in their offices in Belfast.
This is full time permanent day. There is also a Hybrid working model with this role.
The role will involve completing all the import related documentation and updating Stock Records.
Your new role as a Customs and Purchasing Administrator will include;
- Ensure all Test Certificates are received.
- Submit Purchase/Sale Intrastats to HMRC
- Liaison with suppliers for delivery confirmations and updating systems accordingly.
- Checking confirmations against the PO and following up all Open Purchase Orders.
- Ensuring that any Logistical issues impacting customer shipments are proactively reported to the relevant teams and tracked through to resolution.
- Ensure orders have been delivered to agreed lead times and expedite where applicable
- Foster close working relationships with associated departments e.g., Sales, Production and Suppliers.
- Complete all TSS declarations
- Updating and Maintaining the Stock File records
- Track duties and at-risk stock including Anti-Dumping
- Creating Commercial Invoices when required
What you'll need to succeed as a Customs and Purchasing Administrator:
- Experience in TSS processing
- Knowledge of duties/Commodity Codes
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Strong administration & organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
