Electrical / Mechatronics Technician

Co. Tyrone

Rotating shifts

£46k - £49k

Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our client in Co. Tyrone, one of NI's leading employers, to assist with the recruitment of an Electrical or Mechatronic Technician to join their growing team.

What will the typical day look like in this role?

  • You will be involved in the development and implementation of effective planned maintenance schedules for the machinery and equipment across the facility and ensuring that these plans are followed correctly.
  • Responding to breakdowns, carrying out timely and effective repairs whilst also prioritising these repairs in line with manufacturing priorities.
  • Working closely with the production department, liaising with them regarding plant performance and contributing ideas for process improvement.
  • Assisting with installations and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

I'm keen to speak with individuals who possess the following

  • Time-served Electrical or Mechatronic apprenticeship with at least 3 year's post apprenticeship experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • PLC fault-finding/programming experience will be a distinct advantage for this role.
  • Strong IT skills.
