This candidate has over 15 years’ experience in NEC3 contracts with experience in sectors such as Residential, Industrial and Commercial sectors; delivering projects solely to the value of 6 million in both Main contractor and Consultancy environments.

Having worked within both consultancy and contractor based environment, this candidate has built a substantial contacts database of sub-contractors, clients and procurement of materials.
Responsibilities would include, overseeing contracts from inception to handover, starting with the analysis of technical designs, generating take offs and compiling tender documentation, produce BoQ’s, negotiate with sub-contractors, procurement of subcontractors, produce program of works and agree time scales, attend monthly client and director progress meetings. Processing interim payments & agreeing final accounts and ensure all projects are kept within agreed budgets and timescales.

Senior Quantity surveyor & Estimator with 19 years’ experience having worked for a selection of NI contractors across sectors such as Healthcare, Education and commercial on projects from £100,000 to £ 15 million.
Key projects include;
Refurbishment, Fit-out projects, £6 million
Factory refurbishment, £1.5 million
Education projects, refurbishments, and new build, £100,000 to £3 million
Healthcare, fit out, Modular build and refurbishment work to the value of £15 Million
Software firm, €12 million
Day to day responsibilities would include, analysis of spec designs/ CAD drawings and initial take off, producing BoQ’s, value engineering options when required, awarding subcontractor packages, liaising with both client’s and subcontractors, contract analysis, monitoring project budgets, variations and produce detailed cash flow reports at monthly meetings, agreeing final accounts.
Other duties would include Estimating when required, manage, train and mentoring junior members of staff.
