Account Manager


Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's market leading, clients to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join their established team based in Lurgan.


The Account Manager will develop a good understanding of how the business works, supporting the Head of Sales. You will be responsible for delivering targeted sales and implementing a sales strategy that will grow sales, increase market share and profitability.

Your role as an Account Manager

  • Primarily responsible for managing internal accounts in a responsive and professional manner

  • Act as the primary relationship manager for internal and external stakeholders

  • Delivering and implementing the company sales strategy in line with business growth plans

  • Presenting to corporate buyers

  • Preparation and presentation of reports

  • Maintaining an awareness of company products & processes as well as an awareness of product trends across the wider industry

  • Supporting the Head of Sales to build a long term growth strategy and feed into the annual budget planning process


What you'll need to succeed as Account Manager

  • 2 years' experience in an Account Management or a similar role

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Food manufacturing would be preferable

  • Full Driving License is essential.

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • An ambitious, customer focused team player, highly flexible, motivated, and proactive
