Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established and fast-paced bakery operation to recruit an experienced Bakery Manager.

Your day to day
As Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bakery, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality production, and full compliance with food safety standards. You will lead, develop, and motivate a team while continuously enhancing the product offering.
- Oversee the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring efficiency and compliance with health & safety regulations
- Lead, supervise, and train bakery staff across food preparation and baking processes
- Manage the production of a wide range of baked goods including breads, pastries, and cakes
- Maintain stock control and manage ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure all products meet food safety standards and company policies
- Monitor and maintain high levels of quality control
- Develop new recipes and product lines to support business growth
- Manage staff rotas, scheduling, and performance
Your essential ingredients
- Proven experience within a bakery or food production environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- Previous supervisory or management experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Creative approach to product development
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
