In recent years they have rebranded and expanded their teams and due to demand and contract awards has resulted in several Commercial roles including an Electrical Quantity Surveyor.
Your New Role as a Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to the Head of Quantity Surveying, you will be responsible for negotiation, site measure, review of contract documents, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, agreement of variations and final accounts. Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets to ensure successful, efficient project delivery.
What you need to succeed
A degree in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification is desirable.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience within a similar role.
Commercially & contractually aware with a good working knowledge of construction.
Strong communication and negotiating skills are essential for this role.
Additionally, you must be proficient in both Microsoft Excel & Word.
