Estimator (Electrical, Mechanical or Software / PLC specialisms considered) - Multiple roles

Work from home - North Donegal/Derry site for initial induction, training and development; and then the role can move permanently to work from home (Occasional site requirement)
Full time permanent role - Monday to Friday daytime hours

The role of Estimator is reporting to the Estimating Team Leader.

Main tasks and responsibilities of the Estimator position:

• Preparation of material take-offs and quotations for large scale prestigious electrical switchgear and power distribution projects in diverse applications throughout UK and overseas
• Liaison with Salesmen, Contractors, Consulting Engineers and end-users to develop and prepare comprehensive quotation
• Preparation of equipment layout drawings
• Setting up of project folders and issuing of project details for the Engineers
• Other associated duties commensurate with the role

What you'll need to succeed within this Estimator position:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Sales / Quotation /estimation support role ideally within a Manufacturing/Engineering setting with experience gained in liaison with Contractors / Consulting Engineers OR Hold a HND/Degree coupled with 1 year's exposure in a Sales / Quotations support role, ideally within a Manufacturing/Engineering/Sales setting
• High level of computer literacy Excel, Word etc
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Logical and methodical approach to role
