8 Hour rotating shifts- 38 hours per week. (22% shift premium)

Nightshift: Sun- Wed 23:00pm- 07:15am and Thursday 23:00pm-06:30am

Evenings: Mon-Thurs 15:00pm-23:15pm and Friday 13:00pm- 20:30pm

Days: Mon-Thurs 07:00am- 15:15pm and Friday 06:00am- 13:30pm

Rate of pay £11.91-£14.53 per hour + Benefits

Fitters

Main duties and responsibilities

• Sharpen all required tooling
• Identify and correct die problems independently or with reference to senior Die Maintenance Technician
• Carry out die modifications
• Spotting of die, wear plates and inserts
• Perform welding assignments
• Recognise and correct problems during die assembly/disassembly
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
• Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
• Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
• Safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative
• Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures

Essential

• Time served and likely to come from a mechanical maintenance background
• Welding experience
