Vickerstock Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the UK's Tier 1 contractors to recruit for the position of FM Technician. With a number of specialist divisions including Construction, Civil Engineering and Fit Out, this organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex projects across the full built environment spectrum. With offices across the UK, this local success story is now one of the UK's largest main contractors and continues to grow. This particular role is located in Dublin. You will become a valued member of the team, working on projects throughout Ireland, particularly in Leinster.

Your new role as FM Technician

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with your company and the Client's health and safety policy and procedures. You will complete reactive tests and minor repairs throughout planned preventative maintenance visits on the Client premises and ensure the correct execution of these. You must respond quickly to service call requests, prioritising maintenance, and repair work to achieve agreed response times. As FM Technician, you are in charge of ordering and maintaining equipment, tools, and materials. You will be managing the attendance of sub-contractors and ensure they are completing their work efficiently and effectively to the agreed standards and within budgeted costs. As FM Technician, a main priority for you will be to represent your company is a professional manner, developing a great relationship with your clients.

What you will need to succeed as FM Technician (it would be great f you have these but don't worry if you don't)

  • City and Guilds technical and vocational qualification or level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good experience using Microsoft Office or similar
  • Experience working in similar role
