At Vickerstock Recruitment, we are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's leading main contractors to recruit for the position of FM Technician. With a number of specialist divisions including Construction, Civil Engineering and Fit Out, this organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex projects across the full built environment spectrum. With offices across the UK, this local success story is now one of the UK's largest contractors and continues to go from strength to strength. This particular role is located in Dublin, working on sites throughout Leinster.
Your new role as FM Technician
In this role, you will carry out regular tasks and repairs requested by the Client. You will ensure the completion of planned preventative maintenance tasks on Client premises are kept in line with contract specifications. As FM technician, you are responsible for managing subcontractor attendance and ensuring work is completed to agreed standards and within budget. You will also advise the helpdesk where third party contractor attendance is required and provide the required job specification. You will order and maintain all materials, tools, and equipment, in accordance with company procedures.
What you will need to succeed as FM Technician (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't)
- Level 3 Qualification in City & Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and other IT systems
- Qualification in Portable Appliances Testing
- Experience in Legionella awareness and IPAF
- Portable Appliances Testing (PAT) qualification
- Experience working in a similar role
- Full driving licence
