Our Client is seeking a diligent and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors to the company.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all stakeholders.
• Coach supervisors and managers in best practices and understanding safety processes.
• Cultivate and maintain a safety culture in the workplace, utilizing a behavioural safety approach.
• Conduct risk analyses and complete risk assessments.
• Coordinate and drive the site safety committee with the Site Manager.
• Foster good working relationships with relevant authorities.
• Provide necessary training and coaching to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Health and Safety Qualification.
• Proven experience in health and safety/FMCG environment
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
