Vickerstock are currently supporting our Global Manufacturing client in the search for a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager who will support the Operations' Teams to maintain compliance with all relevant local national and company requirements, to achieve their stated HSE Goals & Objectives and meet specified KPI's.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE Team in policy development, strategic planning, Zero Harm and HSE Roadmap development, address any agency compliance issues and keep updated with current legislation.
• Safety Performance KPI reporting
• Monthly reporting
• Management of Health & Safety Council
• Claims management
• Risk / COSHH assessment updating
• Safety project management
• Incident management - Route Cause Analysis
• Working with regulatory enforcement agencies / Insurance agencies
• Environmental / safety auditing
• Management of company set HSE Targets
• Environmental monitoring & measurement

Experience & Qualifications:

• NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Alternatively, equivalent qualification an Environmental, Health & Safety discipline.
• Thorough knowledge of current Health and Safety & Environmental Legislation
• Working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 systems
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 systems
• 5 years Health and Safety Experience gained within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
• 3 years management experience
