Vickerstock are recruiting for a leading NI Company who are experiencing unrivalled growth with the appointment of an HR Administrator for their Belfast based offices.

The role as HR Administrator includes a specific responsibility for assisting the Directors in all aspects of HR and general admin. Ideally, they are looking for someone with a proactive, dedicated, hardworking and methodical approach combined with the right attitude.


Your new role as HR Administrator will include:

  • Carry out all of the HR admin required within the business which employs 65 people, acting as the point of contact for all HR matters.
  • Ensure employment data is accurately recorded and maintained, including sickness and holiday records
  • To liaise with the payroll department to ensure monthly payroll information is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Manage the candidate application experience including all documentation, contracts, offer letters and induction process
  • Manage leaver process including exit interviews
  • Manage the Equality Platform including statutory monitoring processes.
  • Respond to staff queries
  • General administrative duties (including running reports) to assist senior management, the sales team and the general smooth running of the business.
  • Identifying and act on improvement suggestions.
  • Implement and maintain best practice in communication at all times with all colleagues.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company's goal for continuous improvement.
  • Any other reasonable duties at the request of Management.

What you'll need to succeed as HR Administrator:

  • At least 1 years' experience of working in an administrative/HR or customer service environment.
  • Good general level of education including a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent at pass level, including Mathematics and English
  • Highly computer literate - particularly in the operation of computerised systems and PC based products (e.g. Excel / Word etc.)
  • Confident communicator, especially when using the telephone
  • Professional in appearance, attitude and behaviour
  • Personable, self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, willing and a 'can do' attitude
  • Decisive - we like people who have the ability and experience to make decisions on their own
  • A team player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Versatile with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in parallel
  • Logical and systematic with scrupulous attention to detail
  • Flexible, co-operative and welcomes change
  • Happy working in a busy environment with a pragmatic approach to handling pressure
  • Be a fast learner

Desirable

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar HR role.
  • Experience working in a confidential environment
  • Advanced Excel course
