HR Assistant| Newtownards

Vickerstock are working alongside one of our leading clients based in Newtownards to recruit a HR Assistant to join their busy team. The role is for 9 months with possible extension.

The HR Assistant will provide administrative cover and support within the HR Department to include: Recruitment and Selection, Inductions, Training and Development, Employee Relations, HR Policies and processes and HR Systems and Projects.

The HR Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist the HR team in recruitment processes
  • Coordination of interviews and assist as a panel member
  • Organising induction schedules, liaising with managers, preparing induction packs
  • Assist with maintenance of training records including assisting with move to more digitalised system
  • Ensure recruitment records are completed following each appointment in preparation for completion of annual FEC return.
  • Creating and maintaining all relevant employee data

The HR Assistant should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • GCSE English and Maths
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (HR or Business) would be desirable
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable
  • Experience working in a busy office role
  • MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
