Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading infrastructure and utilities organisation to recruit a HSEQ Graduate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to gain hands-on experience within a busy, multi-site environment while developing a strong foundation in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality practices.

You will be supported by experienced professionals and exposed to a wide range of projects, playing an active role in promoting compliance, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the development of a positive safety culture across the organisation.

In your new role:

  • Support compliance with HSEQ legislation, standards, and company procedures
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance and KPIs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HSEQ strategies and initiatives
  • Carry out site audits and inspections, supporting both internal and external audit processes
  • Promote awareness of customer and regulatory requirements across the organisation
  • Support the delivery of HSEQ training, including inductions and toolbox talks
  • Assist in developing a proactive safety culture across multiple sites
  • Work alongside the HSEQ team to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
  • Support continuous improvement activities across all areas of the business

What you will need to succeed:

  • Degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with teams

Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):

  • Previous placement or internship experience within HSEQ or a related field
  • Exposure to ISO standards such as ISO45001, ISO14001, or ISO9001
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, or compliance activities
  • Understanding of construction, utilities, or infrastructure environments
