Junior Quantity Surveyor

Vickerstock are working alongside a local Main Contractor based in Co. Tyrone. This company has a strong pipeline of work based in Northern Ireland and in UK across sectors such as Residential, Education and Healthcare, due to contract demands here in Northern Ireland they require the addition of a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Your new role as a Junior Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for negotiation of BoQ's, site measure, review of contract documents, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, agreement of variations and final accounts. Other responsibilities include preparation of cash flow analysis to conduct monthly cost reports to ensure projects are within agreed budgets and time frames.

What you will need to succeed

• 2 years' experience in either Estimating or Quantity Surveying with a main contractor
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
• All sector backgrounds will be considered however Residential or Build experience is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft packages
