Management Accountant

Vickerstock are working with an established manufacturer based in Mallusk to recruit for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

The Management Accountant will be supported by the finance team and will report to the Group Finance Director.

Your new role as a Management Accountant

• Preparation monthly management accounts with variance analysis
• Analysing manufacturing costs and comparing costs
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supporting month end close processes which will include journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and reporting on KPI's
• Providing backup & support to finance team members
• Preparation & filing of VAT returns
• Implementing internal financial controls and procedures

What you will need to succeed as a Management Accountant

• Recognised accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of NetSuite would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Strong communicator
