Are you an experienced Production Supervisor, Team Leader or Area Leader with a background in food manufacturing?

We're recruiting for a Production Leader to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.

This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing a team of 10-15 operational staff and ensuring production targets, quality and food safety standards are consistently achieved.

The Role

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of production staff
• Ensure production schedules, targets and standards are met
• Allocate resources effectively to maintain smooth production
• Monitor performance and maintain accurate production records
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance and NPD
• Ensure HACCP, hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues and respond effectively to changing priorities

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within food manufacturing
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced production environment

Hours

• 35 hours per week | Rotating 4-day week
• Monday-Saturday, with rotating AM/PM shifts:
• AM: 5.00am - 3.15pm
• PM: 3.15pm - 1.00am
