Senior Machine Operator (Food Manufacturing)
Craigavon £13.01 per hour + overtime + benefits
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturer to recruit a Senior Machine Operator to join their growing production team at their Craigavon site.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced machine operator or production operative to take the next step in their food manufacturing career within a supportive, forward-thinking business that values training, development, and long-term progression.
Your working week
- Monday to Saturday (5 days per week, day off in lieu)
- Hours: 7:45am - 5:00pm (41.25-hour week)
- Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 40 hours

Your day to day
- Operate and monitor a range of food production machinery to deliver high-quality products.
- Carry out efficient machine changeovers and basic fault finding.
- Perform daily pre-start checks and promptly report maintenance issues.
- Support hands-on production duties including packing, grading and preparation of product.
- Accurately complete all production paperwork and output records.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Assist with the training and support of new production staff.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times.
Your essential ingredients
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Experience operating machinery in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A proactive, safety-conscious approach and willingness to learn.
