We are working with a leading food manufacturing business seeking to appoint an experienced Production Manager.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance across production operations, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and delivering continuous improvement across the site.

Your day to day

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure output targets are achieved
• Drive a strong quality culture, implementing and maintaining robust quality control processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Work cross-functionally to ensure production aligns with customer specifications and delivery schedules
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
• Manage workforce planning including scheduling, delegation, and job rotation

Your essential ingredients

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Production Manager role within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of quality control systems and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to analyse processes and implement operational improvements
• Mechanical or technical knowledge of production equipment is desirable
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Experience in staff scheduling and competent across standard IT systems
