Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Production Manager for a well-established food manufacturing company located in Galway.

This is a key leadership position with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring the efficient delivery of production plans while maintaining high standards across quality, food safety, health & safety, productivity and performance.

You will be responsible for leading and developing the production team, driving operational efficiency and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

The Role

• Lead day-to-day production operations and achieve production targets.
• Manage, motivate and develop production teams.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, waste and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and H&S standards.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support production planning and labour requirements.
• Identify and resolve production issues effectively.
• Maintain high standards across the production floor.
• Support the introduction of new processes and equipment.

About You

• Previous experience as a Production Manager or senior Production leadership role within food manufacturing.
• Strong experience managing production teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production KPIs, efficiency, waste and labour management.
