Vickerstock are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a growing and highly successful food manufacturing business in County Longford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to take ownership of the site Quality function within a modern, high-performing manufacturing environment, working closely with Production and Technical teams to maintain the highest standards of food safety, compliance and product quality.

The Role

As Quality Manager, you'll lead the Quality Assurance function and play a key role in driving quality performance across the site.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the Quality Assurance team
  • Maintaining and developing HACCP, TACCP and VACCP systems
  • Ensuring quality systems, documentation and traceability standards are maintained
  • Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring the site remains audit-ready
  • Managing customer complaints and supporting root cause investigations
  • Working closely with Production to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with agreed specifications
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Driving a strong culture of food safety, quality and compliance

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in Quality Management within food manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC and food safety systems
  • Experience leading a Quality team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across Production and Technical teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
