Quantity Surveyor | Belfast | Hybrid |(Infrastructure, Waterwaste, Rail)

Vickerstock are working with a multi-disciplinary infrastructure consultancy client based in Belfast City Centre. In recent years this company has worked on a number of major Civil and Infrastructure contracts across NI and the UK. You will be supporting the cost management team on the delivery of a high-profile, multi-million-pound civil engineering project with sites across the province. This newly created role is a result of the scale of this project.

Your new role as Quantity Surveyor

In your new role, you will be supporting the Cost Management team on the delivery of this NI Water scheme to produce best practice solutions for the client, feasibility, design and planning while overseeing cost management throughout the contract. To keep Senior Management updated on project progression, following quality standards set by the company and regulation standards to ensure efficient, profitable project delivery.

What you will need to succeed as a Quantity Surveyor

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience, part of your experience should include watermains, gas or similar utility projects.
  • Degree qualified and ambition to work towards Chartership
  • Working knowledge of NEC3/4 suite of contracts.
  • Pre and post contract experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consulting environment
