Sales Representative

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Representative to work for leading employer based in Lurgan on a permanent basis.

They are an innovative company who have positioned themselves as market leaders within the Bearings market

The Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets, opening new accounts and servicing existing clients.

Overview

The Sales Representative will have responsibility for the following:

  • Develop and open new quality profitable accounts.
  • Service existing accounts, and obtain orders, and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers by conducting effective journey and pre-call planning.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on existing and new customers.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products
  • Identify growth markets, recommend changes in products, service by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Networking and maintaining up to date professional and technical knowledge to promote the company image and increase sales
  • Conduct all general administrative duties associated with the role and necessary for the operation of the business

Criteria/Essential Experience

  • 2 - 3 years previous experience selling products to engineering or maintenance companies
  • MS Office background
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Work independently or on own initiative
  • Time Management
  • Strong communication skills
