Senior Quantity Surveyor | Belfast

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a façade and glazing specialist based in Belfast working on projects across NI and the UK. Working on projects such as high-rise office buildings, Apartments and Luxury Hotels. Due to expansion, they are looking to expand their commercial team with someone at a more senior level with vast experience in Facades.

Your new role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

In your new role, working alongside the commercial manager, you will support the cost management team to produce best practice solutions for the client and ensure profitability on projects for the company. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor in this team, you will be responsible for generating take off's, cost projections, risk forecasting and overseeing cost control management while offering advice and knowledge to ensure all concerns or variances are managed. You will support the commercial team to ensure successful, efficient project delivery in line with Health and Safety protocols are followed.

What you will need to succeed as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

• BSc Qualified in Quantity Surveying or (similar construction degree) or extensive experience in this role.
• 8+ years' experience working on projects ranging from 1Million- 15 million independently.
• Experience and desire to coach and mentor Intermediate/Junior QS members.
