With over 80 years of engineering excellence, the business delivers innovative structural engineering solutions across commercial, residential, healthcare and industrial developments throughout Ireland and internationally. Due to continued project growth, they are now seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to take a leading role in the delivery of building structures projects while supporting the continued growth of the Limerick office.

Your new role as Senior Structural Engineer
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of structural engineering projects while supporting junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the structural design and delivery of commercial, residential, healthcare and industrial developments
• Producing and reviewing structural calculations, technical reports, drawings and design documentation
• Managing projects through planning, detailed design and construction stages
• Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants and contractors to deliver integrated engineering solutions
• Leading and mentoring project teams while maintaining high technical standards
• Liaising directly with clients and key project stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant standards and company quality procedures
• Contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across Ireland and overseas

What you will need to succeed as Senior Structural Engineer

Technical experience

• Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, IStructE or an equivalent professional body
• Minimum of five years' experience within a structural engineering consultancy
• Strong experience delivering building structures projects from design through to construction
• Excellent technical knowledge of structural design principles and relevant Eurocodes
• Experience leading structural engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• A commitment to continuous professional development and technical excellence
