With a number of specialist divisions including Construction, Civil Engineering and Fit Out, this organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex projects across the full built environment spectrum. With offices across the UK, this local success story is now one of the largest contractors in the UK and continues to go from strength to strength. This particular role is based in London, working on a £120 commercial build project and multi-storey carpark.

Your new role as Site Engineer

You will become a valued member of an impressive Site Team. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring all subcontractors, designers, staff, visitors, and clients are inducted and have approved risk assessments and ensure method statements (RAMS) are in place. You are in charge of supervising and monitoring the direct site labour force, along with coordinating and managing sub-contractors. As Site Engineer, some of your other daily roles will include: ensure accurate setting out; ensure all site related documents are kept up to date; chair, minute and circulate subcontractor progress meetings; plan and manage site resources to ensure a safe working environment and to achieve the programme.

What you will need to succeed as Site Engineer (if you have these that's great, but do not worry if you don't- they're not essential)

• At least five years' experience working within a similar role in the construction industry
• Demonstratable experience in setting out large scale contracts
• A valid UK driving licence
• SMSTS qualified
• Experience working on concrete structures such as slipform or jumpform
• Experience working in groundworks and steel framed buildings
• First Aid certified
