Job description
Vickerstock in Partnership with a Leading Food Manufacturing company are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager (Food Manufacturing).
About the Role
The Site Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall operational performance, safety, people, and commercial outcomes of the manufacturing site. This individual will provide strong, visible leadership across all site functions - including production, health & safety, human resources, quality assurance, supply chain, continuous improvement, and site finance - ensuring the site operates at the highest standards of efficiency, compliance, and profitability. The successful candidate will be an experienced, commercially astute leader with a proven track record in food manufacturing, capable of driving a high-performance culture while maintaining absolute commitment to safety, quality, and people.

Qualifications
Relevant third-level qualification in Food Science, Engineering, Business, Operations Management or equivalent experience.
Lean / Six Sigma certification, Green Belt or above (desirable).
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent EHS qualification (desirable).
Required Skills
5+ years of senior site or operations management experience within food manufacturing or a closely related FMCG environment.
Demonstrable experience managing multi-functional teams and taking accountability for site-wide performance.
Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, BRCGS standards, and GMP.
Proven capability in talent development, succession planning, and building high-performance teams.
Experience managing a site P&L and delivering against financial, operational, and people KPIs.
Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and employee relations in an Irish context.
Proven track record leading continuous improvement programmes with measurable results.
Experience with supply chain management, demand planning, and supplier relationship management.
