Job description
Job Title: Site Manager - Interiors
Location: Donaghmede, Dublin
About The Company: The client is a leading construction company specialising in delivering high-quality projects across Ireland. They have been appointed the Design & Build contractor for a large Project in Donaghmede.
Project Overview: The project is a significant development aimed at addressing North Dublin's housing crisis. This €100m project will provide over 400 apartments and a childcare facility, contributing to the region's housing needs.
The Project will consist of two phases, each comprising three blocks over a substantial double basement. Utilising modern methods of construction (MMC), the project aims to meet program, quality, and budget requirements while mitigating health and safety risks. The first phase, currently underway, will deliver over 200 units along with residential amenity areas and a childcare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal site aspects of the Project, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and schedule.
- Manage site team, including subcontractors.
- Oversee the construction process, including planning, execution, and quality control, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, resolving engineering challenges and optimizing construction methodologies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, identifying and addressing issues proactively to maintain project momentum.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality on-site, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
- Manage the handover process, snagging and finishing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in construction management and tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of modern construction methods and techniques is preferred.
