Site Manager | Mallusk

Vickerstock Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's leading main contractors to recruit for the position of Site Manager. With a number of specialist divisions including Construction, Civil Engineering and Fit Out, this organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex projects across the full built environment spectrum. With offices across the UK, this local success story is now one of the UK's largest contractors and continues to go from strength to strength. This particular role is located in Mallusk, working on projects throughout Mallusk and other parts of the Northern Ireland.

Your new role as Site Manager

As Site Manager, you must have a full understanding of the role of each sub-contractor package whilst working closely with the lead Building Services Manager, Project Manager and Professional Quantity Surveyor. You will issue permits for MEP and close out accordingly. As Site Manager, other duties will include: completing material/equipment orders; carry-out Health and Safety responsibilities; raise NCR's when necessary.

What you will need to succeed as Site Manager

• Good construction experience in: commercial; retail; healthcare; education (either refurbishment or new build)
• Experience in managing subcontractors in line with health and safety and environmental legislation
• CSCS/SMSTS qualification
• Qualification relevant to Mechanical or Electrical Trade
• Good understanding of BG6 and RIBA stages
• Working understanding of BIM, NEBOSH and IOSH
