Van Sales Executive

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership within an award winning food manufacturer to recruit for a Van Sales Executive to join their established van sales team.

The role is permanent and based in Craigavon.

The successful candidate will possess a full clean driving licence for at least 2 years.

Your new role as a Van Sale Executive

  • Promote, sell and merchandise products/brands to new and existing customers in a defined territory.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets to include: revenue growth, stand/rack placement & relocation, call strike rate and distribution growth of the product portfolio.
  • Identify new account opportunities and proactively cold call on target accounts to acquire new business within your area.
  • Merchandise any off-sale products
  • Maintain an up-to-date route plan accurately reflecting the customer base for your defined territory, both current customer base and potential new customers.
  • Transmit information/orders via handheld

What you'll need to succeed as a Van Sales Executive

  • At least 2 years' sales experience within FMCG sector
  • Excellent people skills and ability to engage with people on all levels
  • Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills, and a high level of resilience
  • You must possess a full clean driving diving licence for at least 2 years.
