Fiona kindly had a virtual chat with us to discuss ways in which Mindwise can support and manage employee wellbeing in the workplace.

“Here at Mindwise, we offer mental health training to employers through our ‘WorkWise program’. Many companies within Northern Ireland are currently using our services and it is important to note that our services are not only tailored to an office environment but also for employees on construction sites, manufacturing plants, and field roles”.

The following courses are suitable for all managers and HR professionals to support and manage employee wellbeing in the workplace;

  • Managing Stress and Building Team Resilience: Provides managers with information on managing stress within the workplace and ways of building resilience within their team.

  • Managing Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work: This course equips managers with information to support positive mental wellbeing in the workplace.

  • WorkWise for Healthy Teams: This course equips teams with strategies and tools to promote workplace wellness and improve effectiveness.

  • Coaching for Employee Wellbeing: This course provides leaders with the knowledge and skills to be able to coach individuals and teams effectively and improve employee wellbeing.

During this discussion, Vickerstock's Health and Safety consultants added; “Mental Health within workplaces is without a doubt being actively focused on, however, it is important to know that there are options out there for employers to further enhance the qualifications of their Health and Safety managers so they can provide not only physical health but also mental health support to all employees they manage."
