Account Manager

One of our successful food manufacturing clients based in Co Kildare have asked Vickerstock to assist with the recruitment of an Account Manager to join their customer service team. This a permanent role and office based with WFH 1 day per week.

You will be required to establish strong relationships with key clients and ensure that they receive an excellent service. You will be the point of contact for a number of key clients.

The successful candidate will be joining a highly successful business and team, your primary focus will be ensuring excellent customer service to existing customers and liasing with other departments in the organisation.

Your new role as an Account Manager

  • Providing customer support
  • Stock management - planning, monitoring & maintaining agreed stock levels.
  • Communicating product launches, delists and promotions to relevant stakeholders and departments.
  • Stock allocation and releasing.
  • Logistics - booking transport.
  • Daily Health Cert submissions on Traces NT
  • Generating Customs Clearance Documents
  • Engaging and managing the customer's needs and expectations daily
  • Co Ordination and support for Lean and continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Engaging and communicating with the relevant account managers and team member
  • Answering specific inbound customer enquiries.

What you will need to succeed as an Account Manager

  • 2 years' experience in a Key Account/Customer service role
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to provide top level customer service
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • A desire for continuous personal and professional development
  • Profession and friendly telephone manner
  • Motivated to find solutions for customers
  • Be computer literate (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
