Account Manager (Food)

One of our FMCG clients based in Monaghan asked Vickerstock to assist with the recruitment of an Account Manager. This a permanent role and based in Monaghan.

You will be required to establish strong relationships with key clients and ensure that sales and profitability targets are met.

The successful candidate will manage and develop existing accounts.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in key account management and or business development management in the FMCG & Food Service sector.
Your new role as an Account Manager (Food)

• Developing existing relationships with the leading retailers
• Building relationships with new clients and providing solutions
• Being in contact with key clients on a regular basis
• Arranging and attending client/potential client meetings
• Responding to sales enquiries, customer enquiries, complaints
• Liasing with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.

What you will need to succeed as an Account Manager

• Previous experience in key account management and or business development management in the FMCG /Retail sector
• Experience of working with major retailers
• Strong commercial awareness
• Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing within the food industry
• Organised and able to prioritise own workload.
