Assistant Document Controller/Administrator

Vickerstock are recruiting for an Assistant Document Controller/Administrator for a leading client based in Belfast on a permanent basis.

The Assistant Document Controller/Administrator will be working as key member of the team the main responsibilities of the role will be to coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings and commercial correspondence.

Your new role as an Assistant Document Controller/Administrator

  • Input document data into standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date
  • Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the to appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable
  • Maintaining the files and control logs as required by various projects
  • Organise, manage and file document receipts and distribution lists, project documents and drawings
  • Archive, retrieve and store documentation adhering company standards and policies
  • Check that all the documentation complies with specific company formats, templates and standards
  • Assist with the coordination of document management across projects including policies, protocols and practice

What you'll need to succeed as an Assistant Document Controller/Administrator

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within time frames
  • Detail orientated and precise with a logical approach to work
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
