Assistant Quantity Surveyor | Belfast

Vickerstock are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's experienced team headquartered in Belfast and with a second office in Dublin. Your Role as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Your daily responsibilities will encompass all key aspects of Quantity Surveying, leveraging the commercial insight you've gained thus far while using effective communication and negotiation skills. You will coordinate with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure that all project-related information, costs, profitability, and value align with project requirements, from initiation to final accounts.

What you need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Third Level Qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline within the construction field.
  • Prior experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, preferably in a relevant industry such as Utilities, Civil or Build.
  • Good knowledge of construction contracts and confidence with estimation and negotiation.
  • A valid UK driving license.
