Vickerstock are working in partnership with a market leading Civil and Infrastructure company specialising in the utilities (power/ telecom), civil engineering and infrastructure sector. This company has worked on delivering contracts across various countries such as, Canada, Denmark, France and Norway. As a result of continuous innovation and growth to secure new contracts they are expanding the business development team in the recruitment of a Bid Writer who will also assist with online marketing campaigns.
Your new role as Bid Writer
In your new role, you will be supporting the Senior Management team to identify lead business through detailed research, to produce best practice solutions for clients and the business, managing all necessary bid procedures and processes. Ability to produce captivating presentations, proposals and detailed PQQs. This role would require a creative Bid Writer who can provide accurate information, who is driven and well organised on the delivery of winning tenders and proven ability to manage innovative marketing content on social media platforms.
What you will need to succeed as a Bid Writer
- 2+ years' construction experience in a Bid writing OR marketing role
- Good understanding of Bid life-cycle from OJEU notices to PQQ tender and post Tender documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and networking abilities to interact with clients
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
