Commercial Accountant | Enniskillen

Vickerstock are working with an award-winning employer based in Enniskillen to recruit for a Commercial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for weekly financial reporting including cost management and profitability analysis.

Your new role as Commercial Accountant

• Responsible for financial reporting, providing quality financial analysis and insightful commentary
• Specific responsibility for production of weekly management accounts and weekly forecasts
• Support commercial teams to manage pricing structures for all customers
• Provide margin and profitability analysis for commercial teams
• Specific responsibility for inventory cost management
• Support preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets
• Support management team with daily operational queries
• Development of planning tool to be used in production

What you'll need to succeed as a Commercial Accountant

• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Experience in product costings including build of materials set up
• Experience of working effectively as part of a team in either a finance or production environment
• Third level education or equivalent
• Demonstrable IT skills, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• The ability to work well and multi task under pressure

Desirable:

• Experience in systems development or implementation
• Experience using ERP system
• Experience working in the food industry
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) or QBE
