Commercial Manager | £80,000 - £100,000

An opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Department of a widely recognised leading Construction Contractor. Operating primarily within the civils sector across three key location zones, a mainstay of three major water frameworks, involvement within the sustainable and renewable sectors, this, is an employer of choice.

Due to upward movements, new key appointments and a reshuffle of responsibilities, there is a gap between the Associate Director and the QS team that needs bridged. Whilst you will not be at the coalface of projects you will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships and managing and guiding the wider QS team.

Initially you will be responsible for 1 location zone, you will begin to take more responsibility for the other two, which will also facilitate your own career growth within the organisation.

You may be in a current career limbo within your own organisation, possibly operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with an unclear pathway of progression.

You will be seeking an opportunity where you can add real value due to your career experience to date, helping relieve the Associate Director to facilitate their own career and company objectives whilst providing mentorship, management, and guidance to those within your team.

Your experience will be within civil projects ranging from £5m upwards.

Your aspirations will be to progress within a Commercial Management position and be seeking to take on a deeper and more influential role within an organisation.

The Package

The salary for this role dependent upon experience will range from £80- £100k with the usual benefits package you would expect from such a post and structured organisation.
