Electronic Technician

Vickerstock is currently representing a leading provider of technology design, who is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering tasks with precision and accuracy to assemble electronic components and circuits.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to understand product specifications and assembly requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic systems and equipment to identify faults and defects.
• Conduct component-level fault-finding and repair to resolve issues and ensure functionality.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical challenges and optimize product performance.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including test results, repairs, and modifications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electronic Technician or similar role, with a focus on soldering and fault-finding.
• Proficiency in soldering techniques, including surface-mount and through-hole components.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, datasheets, and assembly instructions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Associate degree or equivalent certification in electronics or a related field is preferred.
