Finance Assistant

We are working on behalf of an innovative organisation who require a Finance Assistant to join their team in Ballygawley.

Your new role as a Finance Assistant

  • Sales Ledger Management - Credit control, resolving client issues and posting client receipts on a daily basis.
  • Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Providing month end sales reports and closing off completed jobs.
  • To analyse credit card expenditure, post transactions to sage and chase receipts in preparation for month end Reconciliations.
  • To analyse, process and monitor petty cash receipts and payments.
  • To assist in the preparation of information required for audit, annual accounts, budgets, and other ad-hoc exercises.
  • To provide effective and efficient administrative support within the finance Department
  • To undertake any other duties as required by the Finance Director

What you'll need to succeed as a Finance Assistant

  • At least 2 years' working in a similar role.
  • Experience of using Sage Accounts and Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience with reconciling bank Accounts using Computerised Accounting Software
  • Ability to work alone as well in a team.
  • Strong Financial and Commercial awareness
  • Candidate would ideally be ambitious and be interested in progressing in their career in finance.
