Financial Accountant | Dungannon

Vickerstock are working with a leading employer based in Dungannon to recruit for a Financial Accountant.

Preparing, examining, and analysing financial reports and records. Preparing and submitting tax documents. Creating effective and cost-efficient financial practices and procedures.

This is a full time permanent role. There is an excellent salary and benefits package for this role.

Your new role as a Financial Accountant

• Preparation monthly management accounts with variance analysis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supporting month end close processes which will include journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
• Year end audit file preparation
• Providing backup & support to finance team members
• Management of finance direct reports
• Development of regular business scorecard measurement and reporting for key metrics
• Preparation & filing of VAT returns

What you'll need to succeed as a Financial Accountant

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA equivalent qualified
• 3 years+ manufacturing industry experience essential
• Strong financial modelling experience
• The ability to work overtime if required and manage workload under tight deadlines
• Assisting with ERP implementation would be an advantage
