Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a Tier 1 Civil and Build contractor based in Belfast in the recruitment of a Graduate Quantity Surveyor. This multi-million-pound company have an annual turn over north of 300 million. In recent years they have branched in to other sub sectors, one being a CAT A and B fit out division. With over 550+ employees this company has grown in both N.Ireland and the UK and now look to expand their Belfast team.

Your new role as a Graduate QS

You will have the chance to work for one of Northern Irelands leading Civil and Build contractors on an array of complex and exciting Projects, you will assist the Commercial Team in preparing BOQ, risk forecasting, overseeing contract management, attending required site visits and client meetings, ensuring all documentation and package details are kept up to date including any and all variances in costs in the support of generating profit for the company. You will have the chance to gain critical experience to further your career with a renowned contractor that can support in your development through ongoing training.

What you will need to succeed

• Be degree qualified with a 2:2 or higher
• Have a strong interest in learning and developing your career in the commercial aspect of Civil Engineering.
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced workplace
• Hold a Full UK driving licence
• Be able to travel to site when needed
