Job overview:

The role of the Health, Safety & Training Manager is to provide health and safety advice, guidance and coaching to our team and ensure compliance with best practice and our company policies. We are looking for someone who will fulfil day to day health and safety duties, to contribute to the management and development of the company health and safety team. You should have drive and enthusiasm and the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years previous health and safety experience in a construction related company.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or similar desirable).
• Experience of current statutory health and safety law in UK necessary and Republic of Ireland desirable.
• Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
• Knowledge of good practice in construction, e.g. HSE guidance and approved codes of practice.
• Knowledge and experience of OHSAS 18001 (or similar management systems) Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills
