HR Generalist (€45k) (South Dublin)
Vickerstock are delighted to be working with an award-winning, exponentially growing and multi-site transport organisation based in South Dublin in the recruitment of a HR Generalist to join their well-established, highly-performing an collaborative HR team.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are seeking to get hands-on exposure to large-scale recruitment, assist in employee relations and liaise with payroll. Furthermore, get experience with HR Systems, taking ownership of delivering training courses.
What you do will do as HR Generalist?
As the HR Generalist, you will have the responsibility of completing the following day-to-day duties.
- Managing 360 recruitment process- creating job adverts, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks and onboarding.
- Devising and conducting training courses for all employees and liaising with external training providers.
- Assisting the HR Team with Employee Relations cases ie. note-taking, partaking in investigations and advising on the legal action to undertake.
- Utilising HRIS Systems to update employee personnel information ie. inputting address, uploading sickness absence and probation reviews.
- Completing HR Administration tasks including ensuring employee documentation is up to date, maintaining compnay training records and assisting with company audits.
- Suppirt with HR initatives regarding performance management and training and development opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed as a HR Generalist?
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of two years experience in a HR Generalist position at Officer or Advisor Level.
- Must have a driver's licence and access to your own vehicle due to travel being occasionally required to different organisational sites.
- Experienced in conducting high-volume end-to-end recruitment ie. sourcing, shortlisting, interviews, delivering feedback and onboarding candidates.
- Skilled in assisting with employee relations cases ie. advising and note-taking in grievance cases.
- Experienced in utilising HR Systems and assisting with payroll ie. notifying payroll of employee's working hours, sick-leave and holidays taken.
- Ability to complete HR Administration duties, organise and deliver training courses
Desirable Criteria
- Achieved CIPD Qualification
- Obtained a Degree in Human Resource Management
- Worked within a fast-paced transport organisation
