HR Officer (Kildare)
Vickerstock is delighted to be working with one of Ireland's largest food suppliers located in Kildare that specialises in supplying multinational food organisations globally in the recruitment of a talented, highly motivated and pro-active HR Officer to join their highly experienced HR department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain HR Generalist hands on experience in leading employee relations cases, assisting with payroll, recruitment, managing HR systems and completing inductions. What will you do as a HR Officer ?
As a HR Officer, you will join the highly-experienced, proactive and collaborative HR department in providing HR assistance to all employees located on their Kildare site. Duties will include;
- Leading employee relations cases including managing disciplinaries and grievances by conducting investigations
- Assisting with full 360 recruitment process- devising job descriptions, posting job adverts, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews providing feedback, providing job offers, completing reference checks.
- Completing inductions of all new employees coming into the organisation- delivering training on company policies and procedures etc.
- Updating HR System to reflect accurate employee personnel details- probation, absence, salary and address information.
- Assisting the payroll department to notify them of new starters, leavers, promotions, maternity and paternity cases.

What do you require to succeed as a HR Officer?
- Minimum of two years experience as a HR Officer
- Experience working within a food manufacturing organisation
- Skilled in leading employee relations cases
- Proficient in utilising HR Systems and completing inductions
- Experience advising on HR policies and procedures
