Human Resources Advisor (30k) (Newly Created Role)

Vickerstock is delighted to working in partnership once again with an exponentially growing, highly-accredited and long-established SME manufacturing organisation that is seeking a Talented HR Professional to provide HR Generalist Support

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Professional to progress within their career and get experience in all HR Generalist duties whilst availing of a highly competitive pay and benefits package.

What will you do as the HR Advisor?

As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Managing the full recruitment process- devising job descriptions, posting job adverts, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, providing job offers, issuing contracts and conducting pre-employment checks ie. Access NI checks.
  • Revising the current employee handbook of HR policies and procedures to comply with current legislation
  • Responsible for identifying training needs, completing manager training and organising job-specific training
  • Liaising with the company accountant to process payroll- ie. calculating employee pay rates (taking into account holidays, sickness absence and promotions).
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees- ie. completing onsite tour, notifying payroll and running through employee handbook.
  • Assist with employee relations cases when required ie. investigations for disciplinaries and grievances
  • Complete all other HR Administrative duties when required

What will you require as the HR Advisor?

  • Previous experience as a HR Generalist at a miniumum of 3 years
  • Managing the full recruitment process
  • Proficient in revising HR policies and procedures
  • Skilled in identifying training needs, organising and providing training
  • Experienced in completing HR Administration duties, leading onboarding processes and liasing with payroll
