Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Vickerstock are delighted to be working with one of NI's largest Infrastructural maintenance & renewal contractors based in Magherafelt. Our client has scaled up on their project portfolio over the last few years, their success has been demonstrated in their ability to deliver on Major Civil Engineering schemes such as Storm Drainage, Road and Rail projects across NI. Due to continued growth, this company is now looking to expand their Commercial Team.

Your new role as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Head of Quantity Surveying, you will be responsible for negotiation, site measure, review of contract documents, procurement schedules, payment applications, agreement of variations and final accounts. Also, you will prepare cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets to ensure successful, efficient project delivery.

What you will need to succeed as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience within Civil Engineering projects. You will be commercially & contractually aware with a good working knowledge of construction. Strong communication and negotiating skills are essential for this role. A degree in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification.
