Vickerstock are excited to be partnering exclusively with our Food Manufacturing client where integrity and trust is at the heart of the business on the appointment of Internal Auditor based in Dungannon. Reporting to the Site Food Safety & Quality Manager, you will work as part of the existing quality team conducting internal quality audits across both Primary and Retail sites.

What your typical day as Internal Auditor will look like:
- Agreeing, managing and working to internal audit schedule for both Primary and Retail sites (in conjunction with the Site FSQ Manager).
- Conducting internal audits in Primary & Retail operations
- Preparing relevant aide memoires
- Completion of relevant internal audit reports
- Reviewing corrective action responses and closing out relevant non-conformances with technical, quality and operations as appropriate.
- Conducting GMP and GHP audits
- Managing Supplier Compliance information for retail site suppliers
- Conducting traceability challenges both internally and with raw material suppliers
- Reviewing and completing supplier approval.
- Managing and maintaining all relevant documentation.
- Other associated technical duties.
What you will need to succeed:
- 1 years of experience working a quality / technical role in the food industry
- Knowledge of FSMS & HACCP, Allergen Management systems, Quality Management and food labelling.
- Excellent communication skills together with a can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills as the role will involve interfacing with major retailers and other internal and external customers
- A high level of motivation, be career driven and self-disciplined with ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Full clean driving licence
- Preferably the successful candidate will have some experience with internal audit / internal audit programmes together with an internal audit qualification, however training may be given to an otherwise suitable candidate
