Vickerstock are working in partnership with a building materials supplier based in Lisburn on the appointment on an experienced Inventory Controller.

You will be responsible for the stock management of a wide range of products and materials ensuring all sites have the right level of stock required to meet demand.

In your new role:

• Work closely with the sales, procurement and warehouse departments
• Play a key role in assisting with forecasting to prevent overstocking and running out of stock
• Frequently liaise with site managers in UK & Ireland, moving stock between branches and ensuring all sites have the stock required for the smooth day to day running of the business
• Work closely with suppliers and carriers ensuring all deliveries are on site on time
• Work closely with the goods in department to ensure a sufficient Supply Chain at all times
• Run daily KPI reports

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast paced, high volume, Inventory Planning/Stock Control role
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office packages
• Full UK driving license
